PDF alone isn't enough for B2B.

Slovak Act No. 385/2025 Coll. on e-invoicing, effective Jan 1, 2027, requires every B2B invoice to also contain a structured UBL 2.1 XML file — not just a PDF. Without XML, you face a penalty of €100 – €10,000 under § 154/§ 155 of the Slovak Tax Code; first offence is a warning, then repeats.

Do Slovak diacritics render correctly in the PDF?

Yes, perfectly. We generate the PDF through the browser's built-in print function — no external fonts. Your browser natively renders ľ, ť, ď, ŕ, š, č, ž, ú, ô, ä, ý, é, í, ó the way a modern printer would.
Is PDF enough from Jan 1, 2027 or do I also need XML?

For B2B in Slovakia you also need UBL 2.1 XML under Slovak Act No. 385/2025 Coll. The PDF remains the visual record, but the structured data must be in XML. Our generator produces both files at once — PDF and XML. For B2C sales to consumers, PDF alone is enough.
How do I download the PDF — with a normal button?

Press "Download PDF" — the browser's print dialog opens. In the destination printer, pick "Save as PDF" (Chrome / Edge: default; Safari: PDF dropdown in the bottom-left corner; Firefox: "Microsoft Print to PDF"). This trick gives perfect Slovak diacritics without loading external fonts.
What about archiving — where should I keep the PDF?

§ 76 of Slovak Act No. 222/2004 Coll. on VAT requires keeping tax records for 10 years in an unalterable form. PDF/A-3 is the recommended standard.
