No catch. The Start plan is €0 forever with a limit of 50 invoices / mo and 5 active clients. No credit card, no auto-charging, no ads. If you exceed the limits we'll offer an upgrade to Lite with unlimited invoicing (from €3.59 /mo on annual) — we'll never restrict access to your existing invoices.
What if I issue more than 50 invoices or add a 4th client in one month?+
If you exceed the limit we'll ask you to switch to Lite (unlimited invoices) or a higher plan. On annual billing Lite is €3.59 /mo (€43.08 in one charge); monthly it's €4.49. You can switch any time and only pay the prorated difference. Existing invoices stay accessible in the archive.
Do QR PAY and UBL XML work on the free plan too?+
Yes, with no quality limits. Security, UBL 2.1 e-invoice, Peppol BIS 3.0, QR PAY (Pay by Square) and IČO autofill from the Slovak register are on every plan — including Start €0.
Will I lose data if I upgrade from Start to Lite or Biznis?+
No. Every issued invoice, customer, numbering series and history is preserved. The upgrade unlocks new features (custom logo, unlimited invoices and clients, accountant exports) but doesn't change existing data.
Are there ads or a logo on invoices in the free plan?+
On the Start €0 plan a small 1FAKTURA logo appears on the PDF — no third-party ads and no in-app pop-ups. For invoices with your own logo you need Lite (from €3.59 /mo on annual) or a higher plan.
Is my data stored for 10 years on the free plan too?+
Yes. PDF/A-3 and UBL XML archiving applies to every invoice regardless of plan. The backup replicates across EU server regions and we keep the archive for the full period required by Slovak VAT law.
