What are cookies

Cookies are small pieces of text data that a site stores in your browser. Some of them we need so you can sign in, create an invoice, or remember your language. Others — analytics — we only use with your consent so we can see which features actually help and which don’t.

Essential cookies (always active)

Without these cookies you can’t sign in or use the application. We process them based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — without them the service simply wouldn’t work.

• session (HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax) — keeps you signed in while using the app. Validity: 7 days or until sign-out.
• UI language (localStorage) — remembers whether you use SK, UK, or EN.
• appearance preferences (localStorage: theme, density, accent, layout, brand-style) — keeps your dashboard settings across sessions.

Analytics cookies (with consent)

They help us understand which features are actually used and where you get stuck. We don’t share the data with third parties and don’t use it for advertising. We only process them if you clicked “Agree” in the banner.

• onefaktura_analytics_session (localStorage) — a random visit ID, not linked to name or email. With this ID we only send the event name, page path, and action type.

At this time we do not use any advertising cookies, third-party pixels, or sharing with marketing networks.

Your choice

A banner appears on your first visit:

• Agree — enables analytics cookies; essential cookies keep working.
• Essential only — analytics are not written; the application works the same.

You can change your choice by clearing the setting in your browser and reloading the page, or by emailing privacy@1faktura.sk.

Withdrawing consent and your rights

Under GDPR and Slovak Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the Protection of Personal Data, you can withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. The full scope of rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection) is described in the GDPR document.
